Transform Youth Ambitions combined action

30.08.2024

The first part of the "Transform Youth Ambitions" combined action was held in Budapest, Hungary, on Tuesday, 27th August. Participants had the opportunity to gain insights into creating a youth organisation or an informal group of young people in Hungary and learned about the legal and financial aspects of establishing an organisation.

The second part of the combined action took place on 29th August, focusing on skill-building for youth leaders. The session covered proposal writing, project design, and fundraising.

During this event, attendees learned the fundamentals of proposal writing and were informed about EU and regional grant opportunities. They also explored how to identify local and international partners for their projects. In addition, participants gained a deeper understanding of key concepts in EU youth project management, explored various fundraising mechanisms, and learned strategies for growing their organisations.

The two events of "Transform Youth Ambitions" – the Empowerment Forum and the Skill-building Session – were designed for those who:

- Seek to expand their knowledge of organisational management and project writing,

- Want to promote their ideas or organisations,

- Are looking to connect with like-minded individuals,

- Wish to engage with experienced professionals and experts,

- Seek expert assistance and wish to be among the first to receive the CEUV Guide.

The IACR organised these events to help participants understand the benefits of creating a youth organisation. Throughout the events, attendees learned about best practices, met others eager to bring their ideas to life, gained knowledge on the essentials of grant writing, and discovered how to find partners and resources to support their vision.
